The Mothers’ Endowment campaign, launched under the umbrella of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) aims to honour mothers in the UAE, and establish an endowment fund at a value of AED 1 billion, to support education around the world.
It also aims to advance the concept of charity endowments by focusing on the empowerment of underprivileged communities and individuals through education and skill-building, as well as create a widespread social movement to support the campaign’s objective of providing education to millions around the world.

Institutions, businesses, businessmen and individuals across all segments of the society are invited to contribute to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, which accepts donations of as little as AED 1. This allows wider participation in this sustainable act of generosity, further solidifying the UAE’s position as the capital of humanitarian work.

Cash contributions will be accepted to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, in line with the endowment’s mission of providing education and capacity building opportunities to millions around the world.

A committee will be created and tasked with overseeing the endowment and offering advice in relevant matters.

Endowment is a great way to do good and make a difference. It is also one of the best types of charity, as it keeps on giving as long as the endowment is maintained by investment and operations.

A committee will be created under the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, in order to oversee and invest the endowed capital in a way that achieves the highest return on investment. The committee will achieve this by focusing on feasible sectors in line with economic growth through a Sharia-compliant contemporary Islamic approach.
This committee will create the necessary processes and regulations in accordance with international best practices, opening the door for the contributions by individuals, institutions, businesses, businessmen and influential philanthropists in order to enhance the impact of the endowment fund and reach more disadvantaged groups.
The committee will work closely with relevant authorities to ensure sound auditing of the endowment. It will be responsible for annually allocating proceeds of the endowment towards fulfilling the campaign’s objective of providing education to millions of individuals.

Proceeds of the Mothers’ Endowment campaign will be used to launch education programmes in underprivileged communities around the world, or to help children and students who stopped going to school because of various crises in their countries. Conditions of target groups will be closely examined.
In partnership with various humanitarian organisations, these programmes aim to provide millions around the world with the necessary tools and skills to lead independent, dignified lives.
